The International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2006) took place in Valencia, Spain from 2 - 6 October 2006.

This exciting annual congress is the major space event of the year, bringing together some 2000 international specialists, captains of industry, and world leaders in the field. It provides a crossroad uniting all the world's space agencies, astronautics institutes, aerospace scientific associations and the industrial firms involved in space activities.
