The Committee’s activities shall include all aspects of Earth observations from space, especially observations related to the Earth’s environment. The scope of these activities includes mission planning, microwave and optical sensors, requirements and systems for land, oceanographic, and atmospheric applications, ground data-processing systems, and requirement for measuring and monitoring renewable resources.
